I am an illustration graduate and fine artist examining the role of current human lifestyles in the causation and reaction to climate change and exploitation of our planet, particularly during the current situation of a global pandemic.
Sketches considering how we can open up a communication around climate change that really brings the urgency to the forefront of the conversation. Using sign imagery to consider how we are missing the vital signs of nearing irreversible damage and the political ‘U-turn’ on decisions which shows a lack of ability to plan for the future and a mentality of progress for progress’ sake.
